Bury 2 Exeter 0 - Dare we Dream?
by The Boy Holty
I think we're now safe from any realistic threat of relegation, in fact we're ten points clear of Northampton in 23rd place, and just seven behind 7th placed York - who we have yet to play, as we do Plymouth, who are two points and two places above us.
There's often a team who make a late dash for the play-offs and our first run of three consecutive league wins in more than two years could yet prove to be the start of one of the most unlikely of such late flourishes.
Our problem however is this; we have only five games remaining. Its not impossible, but we'll have to win more or less all of those games to stand a chance. If only David Flitcroft had been appointed a few weeks earlier . . .
Up the Shakers.
